The $80,000 Email template

Get access to the email (and a fill-in-the-blank template) that was directly responsible for selling over $80,000 worth of courses, memberships, and digital products in 2024.

You’ve probably heard the chatter, AI is making online businesses less human, more robotic. But what if the opposite could be true?

In this episode, Allison Hardy gets real about how embracing AI didn’t dilute her voice, it amplified it.

From shaving hours off her email writing time to showing up live for her membership community, she shares how integrating AI has allowed her to lead with more intention, heart, and creativity.

TAKEAWAYS:

  • AI isn’t here to replace your voice, it’s here to protect it. When trained with your unique style and stories, it can amplify your authenticity, not strip it away.

  • Repetitive tasks can drain your energy and creativity. Automating them with intention can give you back the bandwidth to do what truly lights you up.

  • Creating AI Bots tailored to her business allowed Allison to reclaim time for what matters most: her clients, her community, her family, and herself.

  • The result? A more sustainable, human business where retention is up, creativity is flowing, and real connections thrive.

Hey, hey. Welcome to episode number 439 of the Six Figure Secrets podcast. I'm your host, Alison Hardy. Welcome back. In this week's episode, I want to share something that feels kind of backwards on paper, but has been absolutely true for me. And it's that AI has helped me to show up more like a human in my business.

And I know there's a lot of chatter in the online space about how AI has made people inauthentic and you can hide behind it. And I actually don't think that's the case. I think what AI has done is allowed us to get rid of some things that previously took us. A really long time to do and speed up processes so that we can do more of these live high touch, human centered things.

So lemme take you back to about a year ago. It was one of those afternoons where my to-do list was longer than my patients. My inbox was. Overflowing. And Nora, my 7-year-old, or she was then, she was a 6-year-old, was asking if we could finally finish the friendship bracelet that we had started the day before.

And there I was, I was half listening. I was half writing a launch email, and I was 100% frustrated. I was staring at a blinking cursor, stuck in the middle of yet another email draft, wondering how I was gonna get it all done. And here I had this person who. I say is super important to me, asking to do this thing, and I was frustrated because she was asking me to do this thing, and that sucks.

It was like, you know, that feeling where your body's in the room, but your brain is still on your business. Yeah, that's exactly where I was and in that moment I was like, I am so frustrated with. What I'm doing right now, this is not why I started my business. I didn't start my business to create another nine to five.

I had that. I got laid off when I was six months pregnant with my oldest, who's now 11, and I wanted to go as far away from that as I possibly could. But I also knew that that backend work, the emails, the podcasts, the social posts, they weren't going to magically handle themselves. But then I was like.

Like, what if I like, could it, you know, like I don't wanna get rid of that stuff. I'd already gone through that exercise. Like I didn't wanna get rid of any of the things that I was already doing, but I knew that something had to change. Right? And so, you know, like sometimes as soon as you have a thought, like you can't stop thinking about it, that was this for me.

So there had to be a way to do this or these repetitive tasks, these things I do over and over and over again in a way that does this work for me. 'cause I basically had a formula. That I followed. I show up every single day in a very specific way in my business because that's how my mind works. I need to have like, you do this, you do this, you do this.

I need that order, I need that system. I need those like routines. That's so important for me. And that's what I finally stopped resisting ai. And I was super hesitant to do this. And so what I started to do was I got curious about if. And how it could work for me, not against me. And I didn't wanna turn my business into this like not personalized thing.

I wanted to still have the high touch. I wasn't willing to hand my voice over to a bot. 'cause my voice is the heartbeat of my business. It's the heartbeat of your business. It's the reason why people feel like my emails, my social posts. Are speaking right to them. The way I write, the way I show up, the way I have these podcast episodes, the way I present information.

It feels like you're having coffee with your best friend, who also isn't afraid to lovingly call you out when you need it, right? So instead of seeing AI as this cold, robotic thing, and I started asking, what if I could program AI with the best parts of me, with the phrases I use with the client stories, I always go back to with the language that makes people feel seen, heard, understood, acknowledged, validated.

Like that's a really important part of how I. Show up. And so that's how Franny, Polly and Natalie came to life. These are my AI assistants, and yes, they have names because they're part of my team. Franny handles my flash sale sequences. Polly helps me to pitch with personality. Natalie is my go-to girl for nurturing my email list, and so as soon as I had those things up and running.

What really happened for me was that because they are so well trained on me, these bots don't just spit out generic drafts. They remember my stories. They remember that time. I pivoted and pivoted my business in the middle of COVID Lockdowns with a 2-year-old and a 6-year-old home for 18 months with my husband working in the COVID ICU.

They remember the phrase that my client Melissa used when she called her email list dead and how that one word sparked an entire reframe and success story for her. So instead of waiting on me to remember those things, they remember it for me. And I dunno about you, but if you've got a lot of life, you've got kids at home, you've got a crazy outside of work schedule, that's really important.

'cause brain space sometimes. Can be small and lacking. My AI assistants, my AI bots, they hold the history of my business, the moments, the wins, the lessons, and they're ready to weave those stories and those ideas and those concepts, and those way of working and living into my content at just the right time.

So now, instead of writing a launch sequence that used to take me three hours for one email, I can just write the entire sequence, 7, 8, 9 emails in about 20 minutes. And they're just as good as when I was starting from scratch and writing them myself. So it's not just the work that gets done faster, it's the work that I am doing is more effective, more consistent, and more filled with heart.

Because AI is handling so much of that behind the scenes, heavy lifting, I've gotten back my bandwidth. It is brought back my time. It's brought back my brain space and it's opened me up to being more creative, to doing more collaboration. So looking at my business from a different perspective, because I was in the, what's that expression?

You can't see the forest for the trees. I was in the trees. I was in the nitty gritty. I was in the business and I couldn't find the space or the time to actually have the ability to zoom out and look at it from a bird's eye perspective. I couldn't see the forest. I have the creative energy and the space to show up when it matters the most.

It's allowed me to say yes to more of the things that actually light me up. Hosting events, showing up for collaborations, doing things like. Podcast series, right? You guys have heard those here on the podcast. It's because I now have the space and it's been able for me to introduce new live features into emails that sell my email marketing membership because I actually have the time and the capacity to do it.

And to do it well. Now the new features that I've added in a lot of them are live. They involve group coaching calls and guest expert trainings. They weren't something that I had to do. They are just something that I want to do. I want to go deeper with our members. I want to help them get more customized results.

I want to show up live with them if they want to, and I couldn't do it before 'cause I didn't have the actual space. My members are getting better results now because I'm there. My retention for the membership. Usually people churned around like six months. That was average. We're now at 12 months because the membership, quite honestly, is.

Better because I now have the bandwidth to show up to it more. I'm not drowning in busy work. I'm showing up for my people. I'm connecting, I'm creating, and I'm bringing the human back into my business. And AI is the reason I can crazy reframe, right? AI doesn't replace my voice, it protects it. And make sure that my voice doesn't get buried in my to-do list, and that's what's made my business not feel more sustainable, more human than ever.

So if there's one thing I want you to take from this episode, it's that AI doesn't have to strip away your humanness. When you build it with intention, when you infuse it with your heart, your voice, your youness, it can actually give you the freedom to show up even more like yourself. It gives you the space to say yes to the things that fill your cup, the collaborations, the conversations, the connections.

If you've been resisting it, if you've been hesitant to use it. Ask yourself, could this be possible for me too? And I would argue answers. Yeah, absolutely. So that's all I have for you today. Thank you for listening to this episode of the Six Figure Secrets podcast.

And thank you for being a part of a space that makes room for real messy and the beautiful side, the human side of a business.
