Episode #77: Setting goals and manifesting them

Hey Mama!  And welcome to episode #77 of the Life by Design Podcast!

In today’s episode I want to share some big takeaways I had from a recent live event I attended regarding manifestation, goal setting, and how the two inform one another.  I’ve never really been sold on manifestation, but at this event I was really challenged to think about manifestation in a new way, as it relates to goal setting. In this episode I want to break down what manifestation is, what it isn’t, and how to manifest your goals to make them a reality and the steps to take in order to do that.

TAKEAWAYS:

  • You control your actions.  You can’t control anyone else’s or any thing’s actions.

  • You HAVE to do the work in order to get the results.

  • In order to achieve your big, crazy goals, you have to ACT like the individual who has already achieved those goals.

  • Put your affirmations in places that make them unavoidable.

QUOTES:

  • “Your thoughts, your actions, your desires, the way you act in your business this month are going to work for or against you.”

  • “I don’t want to have to get on the phone and persuade someone to work with me, so I eliminated sales calls.”

  • “If you don’t love something, don’t do it.  It’s your business, you make the rules.”

  • “Your thoughts create your reality.”

  • “Failure wasn’t an option, success is the only option.”
