Most days are pure chaos.⁠ ⁠ Between speech therapy⁠ soccer practice⁠ tae kwon do class⁠ managing an ever-evolving work and life schedule⁠ supporting my amazing clients⁠ launching⁠ and then launching⁠ and then launching again⁠ incessant needs for all the snacks⁠ picky toddlers⁠ exhausted 6 year olds⁠ changing 10 bizillion diapers⁠ wiping runny noses⁠ toddler meltdowns⁠ ⁠ life is full to the brim. ⁠ ⁠ But in all honesty, without a "full life", I wouldn't have the "full business" that I have now. It seems that I had to be pushed in every area of my life, to push my business to the next level.⁠ ⁠ Because the kind of focus you have to have to do "all the things" forces you to figure out what actually has to happen to produce results. That 20% of the things you actually do on a daily basis, create 80% of your results.⁠ ⁠ And so while you're raising the next generation of humans, you can also be raising a beautiful, impactful business that also impacts the next generation of humans...full life and all.⁠ ⁠ Because it's truly a privilege, being a mom and an entrepreneur, and if there's one thing I know about you, it's that you don't take either role lightly.⁠ ⁠ So carry on resilient mompreneur, with the baby on your hip and your coffee still in the microwave from being reheated. If it doesn't feel right, don't do it.⁠ ⁠ This goes for your marketing, that next client, your upcoming launch. If you're not 100% committed to it, stop it right now and don't do it. When these ballet slippers arrived in the mail yesterday I literally squealed!⁠ ⁠ Nora starts creative movement class this week and seriously I could not be more excited to watch her shake, twirl, and move her little body. Music seems to be something she really loves and we have frequent dance parties in our house!⁠ ⁠ Part of her speech therapy is also sensory therapy. She acts out when she is overwhelmed, unable to express herself, or just frustrated. And music seems to calm her down and eliminate those feelings and behaviors.⁠ ⁠ Basically, we need to help her figure out what to do when she can’t verbally express herself. ⁠ ⁠ When I ran this class by her speech therapist she encouraged us to consider this as an option to get Nora more support to help her not only express herself in other ways, but also to figure out some coping strategies for when she is overwhelmed.⁠ ⁠ So we start next week and I couldn’t be more excited to see how she likes the class! ⁠ ⁠ Plus she gets to wear the most adorable ballet outfit!
